Does anybody know if this mod works with the 5.9l gas motor? I have tried to look for the wire but can't find it. The computer on the firewall has three connectors 2 black and one white.

oh ok thanks. So if I don't have the tmr why does it seem like my truck falls flat when it shifts into second gear. And you would think with a big motor you would be able to powerbrake the truck can't even do that.

The TMR basically works on 45rfe trannies and some 545rfe trannies........your 02 5.9 has a 46re which isnt known for TMR.
So how do I tell which flavor I have? I looked on the tranny, and the data stickers, but all I saw on the tranny was RFE. If I have a 45RFE, I'd like to try the TMR mod.......

I have 3:92 17"wheels Superchips kn filter etc, and mine still barely powerbrakes until they get rolling a little bit. It seems pretty weak out of the whole barely squeel if I try. My 96 chevy z71 ext cab 4x4 with the vortec would lay a solid two patch for as long as I wanted and I had 373 ratio rearend. I loved that motor alot more then my 5.9. It had bottom end and topend. Just my 2 cents and then some.

You can't, you have an '07 and it can't be done past the 2003's.
