This is the same thing Kore sells. I've got one on my truck, and if your vehicle pulled too much to the left, you could bleed some of the nitrogen out of the stabilizer to correct this.

 

It should be neutral. and dampen in both directions to be a stabilizer/not a shock.

 

maybe so, Don Thuren cautions this can happen with stock tires/suspension? I think the Fox product is top shelf, sure looked cool !! but, had to send it back.

 

Pre-Question Disclaimer: I've never installed a shock of any kind...

So, if the steering stabilizer is "neutral" in its force, could the pulling be a result of it not being installed exactly spot on? What I'm wondering is this: Let's say that the "left side" of the shock is mounted and secured, now when ones installs/clamps and tightens the "right side", could some amount of unintended shock compression or extension be introduced into the "neutral equation", thereby creating a push/pull effect? Or is the shock so damn stiff that you wouldn't be able to do that during install unless you really really tried? just curious...

No problems here,but I have oversized tires.(mine is from Don)
Don had it pre-set for me(I think its at 140psi)

trikpony,did yours mount directly to the stk. location(on both ends) or did you have a bracket like,mine
Mine would not work without the bracket,as you can see how close it is.

 

yes, the tech installed it using the same stock location and a clamp on the tie rod, he even called Don T. to verify the mount (as per pic).
Don knew my truck is stock..... assuming the setting on the damper was correct, again, he claims with bigger tires/lift, you dont have the problem.
