10w 30 honda oil i get it for free cause im a honda tech it maybe by mobile so its all good. a trick most of u probably know is to run a quart of atf in you oil put in about 500 miles before your oil change and it will clean out your engine because it works as a detergent

Another Oil Thread

Okay I'll bite again! I am currently using Mobil 1 synthetic. 0-40w in Jeep and Ram with K&N oil filters. I also like Royal Purple...both very good synthetics. Frams, I am sorry, are not a highly recommended oil filter. Mobil 1 or K&N .. just my two bits worth!

In my 96 318, Mobil 1 15w50 year round: in the 87 D 1-- 318, Valvoline 20w 50 year round.
On new vehicles now days I would go with a lighter weight oil.

i started using 15/40 in the new performance motor. the tolerances are different. horse power needs protection- the more the better. diesel engine oil still has the zinc and sulfers in scaled back amounts. really bad for the catilytic, i dont care.

switch off between 5w and 10w30 winter and summer, vavoline high mileage and usualy a fram filter but the the auto parts store that opend up down the road sells mopar filters so probably start using that

Castrol EDGE with Titanium 10W-30, K&N Oil filter and Z-Max additives (engine, fuel and transmission). Since the engine rebuild back in 2006, I have ran nothing but synthetic oil.
