I know this is a little long but pleaseeeee read.

So,

I was driving to school one rainy night, and suddenly my truck starts mildly shaking. The next day I plug my code reader in and I've got code P0306 showing up on my Scan Tool (Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected). i had JUST replaced the CAM Position Sensor located under the distributor cap about a week prior to the misfire issue. (truck was having starting problems, and the Cam Sensor fixed it). I noticed i didn't tighten one of the screws down all the way on the Distributor cap, so i figured a little water got in there since it was raining when it happened. I cleaned the inside of the cap and put it back together correctly and it still misfires. Next day i had to run into town and on the way home, at a red light i start to go when it turns green. Well actually, I wasn't going Anywhere. My truck Stopped running. I start it back up and made it home by keeping my foot on the gas or else it will die. It was shaking much worse. When i get out i smell gas really strong. White smoke was also coming out the exhaust pipe when i was driving. I plug the code reader in again and what do you know. Code P0202 and P0207 show up. (Injector Circuit Open Cylinder 2 and 7). I remove the injectors, test each one of them with my Ohm Meter, and they were all around 12 Ohms. I sent 12 volts though each of them and they all seem too open and close properly. I then moved the injectors from Cylinders 2 and 7 to Cylinders 4 and 1 hoping that the misfire will move to those cylinders (Telling me that those Injectors are the problem). I started my truck up and drove it around for a bit (Didn't seem to be smoking anymore for some reason, and didn't seem to misfire QUITE as badly). I plugged My scanner in and i get P0205. (Injector Circuit Open Cylinder 5) WTFFFF. Why would the Misfire randomly move to That cylinder??? If the injectors were bad then the misfire would move to cylinders 4 and 1. if it was the wires then it should stay on cylinders 2 and 7. And what was up with cylinder 6 when it First started misfiring?? Im really getting frustrated and confused because of this inconsistancy. I also ended up replacing the cap and wires because i got frustrated after i cleaned the old cap, But didn't fix the problem. ALSO, a day or 2 before the misfire issue happened, i got smoked out of my truck. SMOKE started comming out of the VENTS. i Literally smelled like tobacco. Where should i go from here i reallyyy need help!
Thank you for taking the time to read. ill be checking every day for replies, Thanks!

Is the weather stripping on the cowl (seals to rear of hood) in place to keep rain off of dizzy and puters on firewall (did something there cause the smoke and get into cowl air inlet for HVAC) ?

Don't know what to say; perhaps use hand spray bottle to "mist" wire connectors, dizzy, coil, plug wires etc (had a coil fail/leak on the "underside"; at night, saw the reflection on the shiny transmission lines that are below the coil).

It was definitely smoke. If i didnt get out i would have probably suffocated since i couldnt breath, even with the windows all the way down. I had to stop and get out with my fire extinguisher because i thought there was a fire or something, but there wasn't thankfully. I could see the smoke coming from the outside vents too by the windshield wipers. It wasnt coming from the engine compartment. it stopped smoking after that and i haven't had the problem since. i figured leaves or something got down in there and started burning. The closest thing it smelled like was unburnt tobacco. it was really weird.

As for the PCM, i never reset it. How do i reset it?? I just installed the new parts and reconnected the battery and the problem was fixed.

the quick way to reset the pcm: take both + and - wires off the battery -turn the key to run- touch the two wires together for a few seconds. this burns down the memory section of the ecm for all trouble codes. some trucks will not learn new sensors until the memory banks are dumped..

I know i had the heater on when this happened because i was driving on mountain forest roads in the snow. The smoke seemed to come from the passenger side vents from the outside, and all the vents on the inside. I know it wasn't the heater core leaking because it smelled nothing like antifreeze, and the windows didnt fog up from steam. And this wasnt steam, this was straight up smoke. Something was burning hot! I could not stay in my truck or i felt like i was gonna die! lol. I had also smelled this in the past coming from my vents, but i didn't think much of it. It usually happened with the AC on. If you unroll a cigarett and smell the tobacco, i smells almost exactly the same. Weird!

I think im going to pop the dash cover off to see if i can see whats inside there. Maybe burnt wires? Is there anything inside of the dash that could cause my truck to misfire??
