What is the redline on the Hemi engine?

Hey guys, I am sorry for such a stupid question. But I've only had my truck for three days now. . . .:D


It is an 06 Power Wagon.


There is no indicated red line on the tach. Which is fine, I think that the dash looks good. But I'm just curious where the redline is?

Or maybe, at what engine speed does the rev limiter kick in?

Yeah I think stock its about what young gun listed above. Mine is set to 6300 rev limit, others have pushed theirs much higher with custom tunes. Granted we have upgraded springs and pushrods too though. A better balancer is also recommended for this as well.

Bragging about upgraded springs and rods but you can't seem to get that e-fan installed....shame

It's called procrastination...or laziness depending on how you look at it. With a wife and 3 kids I get stretched pretty thin during daylight hours. lol I only have a carport right now and that sucks to work out of. :( I miss having a garage.

Atleast you have that, best I have is an ez-up tent for when it rains lol. And thats only big enough to leave about a foot of space from the bumper. Garage would be nice, dont have to get attacked by mosquitos

Has anybody revved a hemi past 7k?
