I Need Help with this. I saw that the CEL in on and when I had the codes ran, its telling me this for the tranny, P1762, (Governor pressure sensor offset voltage too high or low), Says ECM Detected the offset voltage was out of spec for more than 3 seconds. P1763, (Governor pressure sensor too high), says ECM detected the governor pressure sensor input was too high. Both say probable cause is 1, Internal Transmission Failure, 2, open or shorted circuit condition.
I need to know if there is something that I can do to fix this problem. Is it 2 sensor that have gone bad, and where are they located at so that I can change them out? I don't think that there is anything wrong with the tranny. I can go 0-65 mph in under 12 seconds like so. But I also had the guy tell me at autozone that the tranny is bad. I find that hard to believe seams how its shifting fine. Any help would be great. Thanks.
