Tom Tom mount in my 08 SXT

I've been stuffing the suction cup into the sq hole in my dash but it keeps shifting left and right now which is getting on my nerves.
No, I don't want it stuck to my window and I don't want to use a vent mount which would obviously restrict air flow.

Other experience or ideas?

I have dash mats in both my vehicles and they work quite well. If I whip a quick u-turn and really get on the gas as I'm going around, it'll slide off every now and then, but otherwise it stays stuck pretty well. This is what we have:
