Truck sounds great man! I like that the '11s have an "OK" by your TPMS menu select...it's the little things that get my attention.

Thank you, ya i like that about the EVIC but i hate that you have to go to the bottom of the menu to turn it off where with 09 and 10 you could just hit back and it would go black

Nice videos! Your shifts seem faster than stock! Does the shifts feel harder than stock? Also did you leave the resonators on the tips? Thats really not any louder than a 14" mufflex!

Shift seem to stick alittle harder, ya I left the resonators on since they are straight through, and finally someone admits it's not that much louder,

all I hear from people is no muffler is way too loud, I want to go with a muffler, I wanted to dispel that myth,

It's cheaper, sounds sexy, aggressive as hell but doesn't make it so you can't hear yourself think, and you can drown out harleys, I Love It especially for 60 bucks

If you can drown our Harleys it is DEFINITELY louder than my Magnaflow...which is the 14" and thus the loudest in the series.

On another note...I not understand how anyone can not like this look:

That pic just sealed the deal that I am definitely doing my grill.

thats on it hard balls to the wall plus the harleys around here are not that loud, i like the ones that you can't hear anything when they get on it,

My dads Nightrod special drowns everything out but he has thunderheaders

Appreciate the vids! I am doing this tomorrow. Did you install the X pipe or is it just straight like you say? Also, did you notice any difference in performance when you did this? Increase in MPG, faster acceleration, butt dyno notice anything?

Custom y not worth it to run two pipes just extra money, can't say much for mpg it was installed at 150 miles, I get 14.6 wife gets 15.8. A little increase in acceleration and reponse, little bit of butt dyno

Man, that ould sound beastly with an x-pipe and no resonators. May have to check that option out for mine.

Were you flooring it in your vids? Seems like it got up a little slow. ;-)

I don't know if it just a Vid's or not but your truck sounds about the same as mine with the FM 70 series.

:dunno:

Sounds great, not as loud as I thought....

I used to have a 14" magnaflow dumped before the axle on my 2008, and it sounded louder to me. I like it!! Nice.

Sounds great! I really miss my straight pipes sometimes. Only time I didn't like them was when towing, I got a lot of annoying drone in the cab.

Got mine done yesterday! True dual with a Magnaflow X Pipe and and it sounds awesome! Only part I'm not in love with is on the highway. I have only driven about 15 miles on the highway though so I will be giving it a better test this weekend and will have over 125 miles or so logged to help with reports on sound, mpg gains, and performance. As far as I can tell so far the truck does seems to be slightly more responsive in the throttle but nothing crazy. I will report back on Monday. As far as sound vids, my bberry sucks for that so I will try another route this weekend. Sounds a lot like FoxHemi's though. Oh, and I won't be backing into the garage anymore! Start the beast in the garage with the pipes 2" away from the wall and WOW! haha... I will have no trouble getting my teenager up and out of bed from now on.

Normally you won't feel a loss of power unless you really up the pipe size or ditch the cat. Too much flow CAN be a bad thing.
