Tried a search for this but couldn't find anything. Maybe I am calling it the wrong name. Came home tonite to find about a 2 foot rubber hose hanging from the driver's side rear axle of my 01 Ram pickup, 2wd. It was coming out of the top of the brake line junction on the top of the axle. The loose end had a white plastic fitting in it. Couldn't find where it went to or should be. Any advice on what exactly this is and where it should go?

It goes to the bed, almost directly straight up, and slightly to the rear, from where the brake line junction is on the axle.
