Hello all,

I am looking at putting a set of Hellwig LP-35's (9511) on my truck. I have a few questions:

1)Do I need to buy two separate helper springs (2x$196 = $392), or does 1 mean 1 kit, with a set of two ($196.00)? I know I need the mounting kit as well.
2)Any cons to putting the LP-35 on a 1500?
3)Will it raise my rear end?

1)- They SHOULD come as a pair. Mine were like $380 2 years ago.
2)- I think you would only need LP 25's--unless you are at max weight all the time.
3)- Yes- depending on how much you crank em down.

Also know, they WILL make some clanking noises (metal to metal) when unloaded going over small bumps. It does not bother me, but some hate it. I love mine, but Power Wagons have a very soft suspension to begin with. It made a night & day difference in how my truck handles weight. It is a joy to tow now, instead of a white knuckle affair. It does not squat at all when loaded to the max. Remember-they do NOT increase you trucks load capacity, they just help you tow at max weight more safely.

Thanks Twinstick.

I am putting on Monroe Coil overs #58640, which will help. I don't plan on going over my max weight, or being near it.

I am looking at them for two reasons:

1)I tow a 30' camper, and I hate the up/down feeling when I go over bumps.
2)I want my truck to sit level when towing the camper since I installed a hell bent steel leveling kit. I'm going to see what the coil overs do before I purchase the LP.

I have a set of 3500s in my garage. Well, there are 2500 with an extra leaf to make it 3500lbs.. I haven't installed them as of yet.. I need hardware, they were cut off the old truck.. might be able to sell them real cheap - but shipping might be a pain.
