Slammed1,

I have no idea what Im doing when it comes to suspension. My question is, what do I need to drop my rear to stay level with the front and what if I would like to drop the front 2 inches as well. I've looked through your site also, but I don't understand anything.

Thanks, Ill be PMing you about something else as well.

if you want to go with a 2 inch drop in the front and keep the back level, you'll need a 2/4.

to level the back with the front, you can either lower the back or raise the front. Lowering the back can be accomplished by removing the overload leaf and installing a shorter drop shackel. raising the front by a coil spacer. lowering the back looks better if you plan on keeping a stock tire heighth and is probably easier.

send brian a pm. if you want to go 2/4, you've got a choice between springs or spindles in the front and a flip kit or drop leafs in the rear. New shocks should be installed to produce the best ride quality.

How much and what product do I need to buy to just level it. It seems that the 2/4 seems to be alot of work and probably alot of money as well.

To just level it, you would need a set of drop shackles for the rear. These will lower the rear by ~1.5". This will get you pretty close to level. You can also remove the overload springs to get another ~5/8"

Or you can do what I did.Get drop shackles, remove the overload spring and move your middle spring to the top,get shock extensions, and front coils springs and bump stops and your set.190 is all I spent and I got a 2/4 drop.

Is it hard to install the drop shackles? Can I do it myself?

Took me 30 min to install my drop shackles. Floor jack, stands, ratchet, and lube is all you need.
