Code Help

The links in the sticky page are not working and the search function is turning up a bunch of non-answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The truck in my signature is my 2004 Ram 5.7. Without warning, the truck went into a sort of limp mode. Sounds like its running on two cylinders. Dash went crazy too. All gauges pegged. No oil in the coolant, oil doesn't look like a milkshake.

Pull the codes on dash and got the C code E along with AA AB AC AD AE. So none of the modules are talking to one another. DTC codes are U0155 and U0101. Where the hell to start?!

According to Google, U0155 is "Lost communication with Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module". U0101 is "Lost Communication With Transmission Control Module (TCM)" Someone been poking around in the dash and under the truck?

Yeah I had figured out the codes, and I'm just hoping its not a computer problem. Other than the mods l have listed in the signature, the truck is untouched. No wiring has been altered. The truck has been sitting a while and needed a new battery. So I installed a new one. Everything in the truck is off, but the wipers came on for about three cycles and stopped in the up position. I started the truck and it still runs like garbage, so I only let it run long enough to read the codes. The only two that came up was the U0101 and U0155.

I get the 'no bus' on the odometer screen and the gauges are going nuts when I do get the truck running.

I would pull the PCM and check for moisture and/or burnt areas on the circuit board. My guess would be the PCM is junk or that some rodents got in there and chewed some wires.

That would be the one passenger side bulkhead correct? Everything appeared to be in order. I guessing that if the PCM isn't working then I would get all of those AA codes saying that no voltage was coming from any of the other modules.

ok...so I took my SCT and flashed the PCM with the performance tune I have. It started easier, but its still doing the same thing. Managed to get a new code; U0101...lost comm with TCM. Other than the IPC code, this is the only thing coming up. My question is this, would a faulty TCM cause the engine to go into limp mode?

I am pretty sure that the IPC will need changing because my dash is going crazy. Can anyone tell me if this too is a module? Or does the entire cluster need changed or what?
