Anyone done a 99 to 2000-2001 brake swap on 1500 ram 4x4

the engineered obsolescence comes from the proportioning valve. rams are set up for 70/30 biased to the front and thus the nose dive effect. consequently the rotors heat up, glaze pads and warp.
have you modified the rear cylinders yet? it worked for me. if its the bendix system on your truck/ switch to the chevy dually wheel cylinders first.
to rely on the drums more or less gives you a four wheel stop and you will be surprised. brakes last longer and i witnessed better control.
also for the bendix system you can use the 2500 calipers on the frt- if i'm not mistaken!

wc79768 dually wheel rear cylinders. 1 3/16th bore the big ones.
you should find out if you have the bendix or bosch brakes on the truck first. cause they are two different systems and the mod wount work on the bosch system.
like i said before work over the rears cause the ram has a bad habit of nose dive! otherwise you may want to look into a disc conversion from BBC or wilwood.. big bucks there!
