Hello Everyone,
My 1993 Grand Caravan shakes the whole front end during take off when I get to around 40mph until I get to around 50mph..Doesn't do it coasting just under a load..It shakes the steering wheel as well..
It did this when I first bought it about 4 years ago at 169000 miles and it sort of faded away..I replaced the tires last fall and they said I needed new inner tie rods so they could do allinement..So I had it all replaced with new allinement and then the shakes came back..I am thinking maybe the loose tie rods caused it to fade away and now that the front end is tight it brought the shake back?
Anyway my neighbor is a transmission mechanic and I had a trans leak so he had to remove the trans to replace a O ring..While it was on the lift he pryed on all sorts of things trying to find what might be causing the shake and the only thing he found was that my sway bar is broke in half right under where the bushing mount is..Could that cause the shake?? In my mind I don't think it would..I just wonder if there is some sort of balance bearing or something on one of the axle shafts..Feels to me like its mostly coming from the right/passenger side..

3.3L 4 speed auto..
Any Thoughts??
