im not sure if it matters on these trucks but you did replace it with a 9007 bulb and not a 9004 right, i would pull the headlight bulb out of the working side and stick it in there and see, do you have any other problems on the truck? i ask that so that we can see if it could be a FCM problem or just a wire problem, TCTWG, i agree it could be a grounding problem, but correct me if im wrong but dont both the high and low beam ground to the same wire on these trucks? i know you told me about how the 9004 bulbs use the various grounds, but to the OP i would check the voltage to the high beam prong to start.

Sorry guys, I will try to make it a little bit clearer...

When I have the day time running lights on, the driver's side headlight is at normal position, the passenger headlight is way way low, not a big deal. When I turn on the lights for night time driving the low beams become bright like they should and are in perfect alignment. Now here's the tricky part, when I turn the brights on, the driver's side raises and becomes brighter, the passenger side however, dims and drops down to where it sits when just the day time running lights are on.

I did replace the passenger bulb with a 9007 bulb, just to check, so now I have an extra bulb as the original was doing the same thing.

Hopefully that clears it up a bit... Anybody, think they can solve this one?? lol

that just sounds like the highbeam part of the bulb is burnt out, but if you replaced it i would check and see if the wire for the highbeam is getting power

do you get a LAMP OUT or anything?
