My trucks transmission was rebuilt 18 months or so ago at the dealer.It has worked perfect for the whole 5,000 miles I have driven it in the last 18 months...Today on the way to town it bucked going into overdrive and shifted funny(WEAK). On the way home I was babying it and the check engine light came on.I pulled over and checked the fluid;It was all the way at the bottom of the stick but not burn't.The code is #P0748.It felt like it pulled out in second gear and has No overdrive. I looked up the code and it says;# P0748 Governor press Sol Ctrl/Trans Relay Circuit.Help me out fella's...I cannot afford a new Tranny right now..AGAIN

It was 1 quart low on fluid... I added 1 quart of fluid and Checked the harness on the side of the tranny.I reset the computer and checked the fuse and circut and all was good.Check engine light went off until I put it in Drive;It pulls out in Second gear..Then the check engine light came back on again............Anyone have they're "Pressure control solenoid replaced"?

Well,the solenoid in the Tranny shorted out and it went down the line and shorted the PCM...it ended up costing $1268.00..Parts and labor :crazy:
