Abismal.

65000 km (close to 35000 miles??) getting 11.1 mpg in city. Not much better on HWY ~ 14. The thing is a pig.

The computer indicated 14+ frequently on stock rubber. only thing I've changed ont he entire truck is the tires.

Both sizes (stock vs new tires) are 275/60/20's. The new tires (Cooper ZEON LTD's) look similar sizing but apparently made my mileage go even farther down the shitter.

The Cooper Zeon LTZ( never heard of an LTD is that a typo? )has a very aggressive tread pattern vs the OE Goodyear Wrangler HP's. That will easily cause a MPG loss due to increased rolling resistance. The Cooper's probably weighed more p/tire as well I would guess.

Yeah supposed to be LTZ.

I did expect a loss of mileage when getting them. Its a nice tire, but to soley bring down mileage by 3 MPG's ( or 20%) single handedly seems a little high. Improved traction for sure, better looking, same road noise as stock but make the mileage suffer. They definitely LOOK meatier though, which was kinda the whole point in getting them.

Though, they seemed to like the few feet of snow we had pretty well when i was messing around with them.

I Do some mixed driving. Truck has custom exhaust, I took the MIT off and k&n filter off and put a fram filter in. On a highway trip 70-75mph truck got 21.8 mpg, flat land running mds pretty good. Another trip to my mountain cabin and back little bit of city and good amount of highway with hills got 19.8 mpg. My normal driving to work and back will get 17-18mpg. I have an MDS light and try to run in 4cly mode as much as I can.

08 2500 Laramie Hemi Megacab 4x4. On a good day can get 20 on the highway on a bad day 8. Around town 12 or so. Averaged 11.2 over 6000km pulling a 34 ft trailer last summer. Truck is totally stock with crappy 265 70-17s.

In stop and go traffic I probably get around 12 mpg, on the highway at 70 mph I get about 14 mpg. My sweet spot (with 37s) seems to be 45-60 mph, if I can go steady at those speeds I crank out about 18 mpg.

I have read multiple threads about mileage. They have all years of trucks and 4x4 and 4x2 answers. I want to know what kind of mileage and how many miles do you have on your "06-08" hemi's that are 4X4.
Thanks,
My truck is a 2007 1500 4x4 Hemi regular cab LWB.

I get upper teens on the highway, consistently. I have seen as good as 20 when it was new and on stock wheels/tires. City is probably around 12 but I rarely drive it in any kind of stop-and-go traffic so that does not worry me.

It has just over 22k miles. I use mid-grade fuel only and Mobil1 synthetic oil.

BigRedMegaRam, how in the heck do you get 20 on the highway??? The best that I have seen in my truck is 17 on the highway and usually like 15 though. 12 in the city.

i get 14-16 in town and drove to Houston today got 21.4 on the highway.
all original except flomaster muffler. and im getting old , so i dont keep my foot in it. but a a few hard excellerations and it kills the mileage big time, more like 9 - 10 in town , oh and i dont let it idle , thats another big mileage killer.

06 RCSB w/ 55k, mixed driving I get 15-16 according to the overhead. If I'm running around town it can drop into the 14's and on the hightway it will run up to over 17. BTW...I shut the MDS off a while ago and haven't noticed any difference in my daily running. I lost about 1 mpg on the highway though.
