Thanks for the info 1 ton. i talked to her claim adjuster at lunch and he told me that they are going to take care of everything. I just hope it goes as smoothly as it sounds (prob. not). Here are a couple pics, hopefully they turn out...

doesnt look too bad, but i would ask for a brand new door, or atleast a pull off from a junkyard that wont have any bondo that could go wrong in a couple of years.

i know im a little slow at times however please clear something up for me. What in sam hell does the F***in TAG in the rear have to do with the side of the da*n Truck? I woulda lost all my religion had i heard that sh*t. I mean if the Tag had been on the back she woulda saw the SIDE of that big ass truck BETTER ? :VHOT::VHOT::VHOT:

on a side note...... CLEAN that dam* TRUCK.. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha:D:D
anthrHEMI, I couldn't believe it either, she was a total idiot! She wouldn't even roll down her window when my wife went up to her, i think someone knew i was PI$$ED! I hope me yellin' and throwin' my hat inside the cab didn't give it away! :thatfunny

Oh and BTW, thanks for reconizing that it's a big ass truck, obviously to her, not big enough, which i can fix :D ! And i guess i better clean it before i send it to dodge for the estimate, they might not like that as much as i do! Thanks all for the posting (helping me deal with it)! Keep truckin' :rck:

I noticed in another thread you mentioned taking your truck to the Dealer and if the insurance will honor dodges estimate. I recently took mine to the dealer and had it repaired and what will happen is dodge will do an estimate on thier own and if they dont match, the insurance company will have to do a SUpplement, which means the adjuster comes out and reinspects and authorizes the extra work. In my case ALLSTATE wanted to use all aftermarket parts . THe Dealer ship wouldnt allow it, she Pulled my truck apart and called for a reinspection. All that to say this... dont settle for anything you are not happy with. Make them repair your truck to OEM STATUS and to your liking.
you should also be able to get compensation for the rapid decrease in value due to an accident on record for the truck. stick it to her insurance.

Exactly corect. It's called diminished value. I actually got about $2,000 for diminished value on a 2003 Hando Odysse that was hit in the front by some teenage girl talking on her cell phone.

This was a HUGE pain in the but, but I just did a lot of internet research, and spoke with several dealerships about the reduction in trade in value. In the end, it did pay off.

Good luck man... I know the feeling.
Sorry... double posted somehow
And this is why I take company vehicles when I go to Anchorage instead of the Dodge. Most of the people up there can't drive to save their ass. :VHOT:
Sorry about the truck man, make sure the insurance fixes it to good as new.
man...I hope yours turns out better than my situation...good luck man
