well last night when my wife got home she said that the truck was taking forever to crank over. so i check it and sure enough the battery was cranking slow. well i wake up this morning to head off to work and the battery is now dead. it sucks since i just bought it about a month ago. its an optima battery (red top) i think that it just has a bad cell. ill be taking it back in to auto zone this morning. to see that they say. it sucks but hey thats life. ill let you guys know how it goes.

I've been running Optimas (both red and yellow) for many years in several different vehicles, and never had a problem. However, others have, and I've heard they "may" not be a good as they used to be. I can't say for sure, but I bought a Deka Intimidator yellow top this time for my PW just in case. So far, so good.

nope i when the truck is cranking the battery drops to 5 volts and after it starts it will climb back up to 14.8
