Hey hows it going,

I am in the looks for a new set of all- terrain wheel/tire setup, I want something that is good on the pavement but when i want to go play out in the sand, and some shallow mud i can.

I made my choice of rim is the rockstar xd775 in 20" and the tire choices are nitto terra grappler or Toyo open country MT

My only concern is: I want a 33" tire, and i read threads that with the TB lift 33" tires will fit with no rubbing issues.

That being said, what if i went a tad bigger, and much wider! Would a 305/55/20 fit with no rubbing issues? Thats a 33.2 inch tire, but it is alot wider then stock, in a full turn anyone know if it'll rub? I know the 275/55/20 will fit, which is another option, but thats not that much wider then stock, and i want that beefy look!

Let me know your thoughts,

thanks in advance,

Dan

Thanks guys, in the first post i ment 275/60/20 not 275/55/20. The 275/60/20 are 33" exactly.

Im just curious if the 305 width is a little to wide and will cause rubbing.

305 is not an issue, a lot of Guys run them with 22's
305/40/22 or even 305/45/22 works, the width and additional diameter makes it tight for sure! Your rim choice will also have an impact if everything will work or not!

I hear you!
Why don't you try 305/50/20?
I think it is more an issue of aspect ratio versus tire width.

Not sure what you know about tires but the "50" is the percentage of sidewall in relation to the tire width. A 305 tire has a 152.5 mm sidewall.

305/50 is what I would do on a 20" rim.

Yeah, i know alot about the tire sizes, but even a "50" might be a little to low profile for my liking.
