The wheel will have a 14mm offset, 5" back space. The cars not lowered but may go that dirrection in the future.
I'm pretty sure the 274/40-20 will work but then again, scared to throw that money out there to find I goofed!
Help ease my fear!!!

on the LX forums I've searched about 8 threads with people who've gone that route all around and it's working for them. I'm told it's like 1/10 of an inch shorter than stock, give or take and supposedly even though it's really wide it'll work in a lowered set up. However, I don't think I've seen direct reports back from the guys with those tires who said they had lowering kits on order.....

I've that size of tire on order now and should get them mounted on wheels in about 7-9 days if I'm lucky. Will post a thread when I take pic's.

I have 20" & same tire size you are looking at plus have lowering kit. There is no problem with rubbing or any thing else. It all works very well.
