I just picked up 08 4x4 w/ 20's and I hate them.

I'm looking at these rims procomptires(dot)com/pxa7289

Thinking about 17X8 4.5" BS

And getting the 295/70/17 (33.5" 33X11.50) Toyo's MT or 285/75/17 (33.8" 34X11.50) Toyo AT's

I know 285/70 fit but havent heard of anyone running 295's or 285/75

I already have a lifted diesel, and want to keep this stock but need better tires for the winter.

How are the Toyo AT's in the snow and deep power. I have 35" toyo MT's on my CTD and the're not that great in the deep stuff even aired down to 12 psi. I had BFG AT's on my 2nd gen and it wheeled much better in the snow then my Toyo MT's on my 3rd gen.

I like my MT's alot but if the AT's are better in the snow ill get them. We dont have any mud out here.

I just want it to handle as close to stock as possable w/o rubbing issues.

I went through the what fits thread and didnt see any pics of 295's on stock or 285's for that matter. So if you have them please post them.

a buddy of mine is running 315/70/17 on his 2500 and dosent have any issues.not sure what brand tire hes runnin.Anything that wide can't be good in the snow anyways.Im worried about my 285's being too wide,they just act like big ski's.

what model is the pick up ? I have 295/70/17 Toyo MT, I couldn't go any bigger on mine without rubbing.

its a 07 q/c 2500 ctd .I dont believe he has any lift in it.

welcome to DT. Be sure to post some pics when you can. Now to answer your question, those tires shouldn't rub - especially if you get the 17x8 wheel with 4.5" backspacing.

I have an 04 2500 quad/longbed with stock wheels and stock suspension and was wondering if the Toyo 295/70/17 will fit without rubbing also.

They will fit no prob
