an extended cab, or stepside type truck. Both Chevy and Ford still make both types. I'd really like a 4X4 stepside (what did Dodge call them). I last remember the "Little Red Truck". I don't need a full four door truck, and I'm tired of my standard cab.

I don't know the reason. I think it's pretty dumb that you can get a regular cab or the 4-door, but you can't get a Club Cab (extended cab). Actually Dodge was the first to offer a Club Cab pickup in 1972.

Back in the "day" Dodge called their stepside trucks "Utilines"

I was told the reason why Dodge doesn't offer the extended cab anymore was, they cost difference between the extended cab and the quad is very low...And demographics showed people would buy the quad over a extended cab...That is what the local dealer told me awhile back...It kind of makes since to me...
