Nope not Icy road it was +8 c yesterday. If it was icy you would not see the speedo drop as fast as it did after I let off the gas.

Definetely wheelspin in the first vid, your on a wet road. When you let off the wheels stopped spinning and resumed actual speed you were travelling at. Speed doesnt bleed off that fast from lifting unless you hammered the brakes.

FYI, you do realize in Ontario that would be considered stunt driving in the 2nd vid. Shouldnt be screwing around on wet roads in traffic taking vids like that. Anyone of those drivers could call 911 on a cell phone &/or take vid on their cells of what you were doing.
7day impound, possible jail time &/or up to 10000 fines now for either stunt driving or racing.
Cop got nailed for racing a couple days ago on the 403 doing 163kph. They impounded her unmarked cop car.

Take it to the track and show us what it actually does!

Nah, too risky these days...But, you do have me thinking. I am not going to post anymore vids, it is a dangerous game now a days. Everything is held against you. This just reminds me why are we buying performance goodies for our trucks when we will probably never be able to use it 99.9% of the time. I think my idea of a 408 stroker just went down the tube. I miss the old days with street racing. I need to buy a huge parking lot so I can do donuts and burnouts without consiquences.

The strip is not always as close as we would like. With a big heavy truck I would end up going through a tank and a half of gas to go there and back. I personally have never been to a track to race no idea what the cost would be ?

Then the neighbors would call the law and get you for disturbing the peace. :(

Well, that is pretty cheap I will have to check it out in my area to see how much it is. I might make it a habit.

Dragstrip just north west of Ottawa on the north side of the river about 15m maybe called Luskville Dragway. Click track info to see the map
http://www.luskvilledragway.com/

Toronto Motorsports Park (where I go) charges $20 to 30 depending on week night or weekend, usually $10 to watch. Probably a bit less at Luskville.
