HEMI. If those are the only options. Personally, I'd choose the CTD.

Not only which one "would" I buy, but which one "did" I buy. 
The 4.7L is great.
Nothing wrong with the 5.7L either, but IMHO, not worth the extra expense. That being at least an extra $900 on the truck, 8 extra plugs every tune up, and more importantly, you have to run at least 89 octane gasoline. For me, it just didn't feel that much more powerful to justify, spending the extra money for it. That's just my $0.02, take it for what it's worth.

i love my truck and it is a 3.7l
but if it was between those 2 it would be SRT-8 hemi
but if it was between those 2 it would be SRT-8 hemi

My dad's 1500 with the 4.7 doesn't get much better gas milage than my 2500 Hemi with 35" tires. My dad's truck is a fun truck to drive and all, but it's not a Hemi. I'd like to see the 4.7 with stock gears turn the 35's I have under my truck as well as the Hemi and 3.73 gears do.
