Help guys. i'm forging the bottom end. Got the eagle cranks and the rods with custom je pistons Now my machinist says I need a damper. But he's saying maybe a "neutral" one that he may have to remove some material or something for balancing.

Anyone here have info on this?

if your internally balancing you need a neutral dampner. if external you need one with an imbalance. also your torque converter needs to match up also. no counterweight for internal or with weights for external.
