My oil pressure gauge just sits at right around 30 no matter if I just start the truck or if I'm going 70 so I assume it's the pressure sensor. My pressure should fluctuate shouldn't it? I went and bought one but cant find it on my block anywhere? 5.9L Haynes manual says it's next to the ECM on the left side of motor on 99 and later models. Mine is a 98 so this doesn't help me.Can anyone tell me where it's at?

Mine has two. One for the ECM and the other for the gauge. Both mine are on the front of the manifold on either side of the thermostat housing.

Those are temperature sensors.
One for the dash gauge and one for the computer.

and by the way they make a special socket for it, GET ONE!!! the one I got from autozone, I had to hone it out a little (crome plated) in order for it to fit.
