Does anyone know off hand what a 4x4 quad cab Dakota weighs? Just curious, I would guess around 3000 lbs maybe?? It feels heavier than my 98 did.

According to Edmunds.com, the curb weight for a 4x4 QC is 4579 lbs. Dodge's Dakota website is pointing everything to a PDF file, making me think that they're in the process of updating/switching to the 07 site. Anyway, there's your answer.

Holy crap!!! I was "weigh" off then, LOL. That's less than 1000 lbs difference from what my full sized Ram weighed. I quite surprised.

The new ones are about 300lbs heavier than the 2 gens, and they are heavy! The QC 4x4 would be around 5,000lbs My '02 4x4 CC is around 4500lbs

Yeah, they're definitely midsized trucks...nearly 4600 pounds for a QC 4x4 is pretty heavy. I have a CC 4x2 and that's "only" 4306 lbs...it's a lot of truck.

Wow, that's heavier than I thought. My Bronco "only" turned in 4616lbs, and it's based on a half-ton! I'd have pegged a 4x4 Dak at 4000-4200.
