I have a 1995 Dodge Intrepid ES and would like to check the rear left wheel bearings. After removing the dust cap, what size socket will I need to remove the hub retaining nut to get to the bearings? It looks to be an inch and a half but I'm not sure. My socket set only goes up to one inch! Anyone know?

You'll need a 1" drive 36mm socket and possibly a breaker bar as well. Because sometimes the nut is hard to get off. If the bearing is rusted onto the spindle you may also need a bearing puller to pull the hub off.
