Several people have looked at this post and apparently have absolutely no opinion? If you like your shocks, tell me, if you dont like yor shocks, tell me that too. I can't find a decent shock absorber rating on the internet.

If you can find the right part#'s I always highly recommend Bilsteins. I have used them for years and love them for all around performance.

I have Ranchos on mine, RS-5000's in the 15 years I've had to replace 2 for seals that leaked but overall not a bad shock. I think If I had to do it all over I would use Bilsteins.

On my "other" truck, I am running Edelbrock IAS shocks and have had good luck with them so far. I'm still trying to put my 1993 W250 back together (transmission rebuild) and will be looking to replace the shocks on it. I've been looking at the Monroe 58571 Coil Over for the rear and the Monroe Gas Magnum 34853 for the front. Hope this helps.

Edelbrock here. On some roads they are kinda stiff, but I like a firm ride. :gr_patrio
