I'm in the process of changing over to mobile one and have the oil and filter out. I had picked up the filter from NAPA 1085 and I noticed the new filter has a smaller thread. Called NAPA and gave them the mopar number off the old one and they couldn't cross it and called another place that had WIX and their replacement had the small threads and they couldn't cross the mopar filter. I only have 1500 miles on it and will drain out the old filter and put it back on until I can get to a dodge dealer and get the right one.

They must of changed the filter of 08.

i cant see them changing the filter for just one year. my moms 06 hemi 300 uses the same filter as my truck, WIX 51085

The WIX 51085 is a 3/4 - 18 thread and that is too small for the 08

looked in the owners manual and that listed a different number than whats on the filter, had the auto store cross it and its crossed to the NAPA 1085 which is the wrong one. So the owners manual is wrong. I added a new post to bring more attention to this problem.
