What does the LD stand for? I thought is was locking differential. Does that cause both wheels to spin? Mine does not.

Good question, couldn't find it in my manual. I think it is limited slip differential. Can anyone confirm?

the LD stands for Light Duty. Check your glove box sticker to see if the axle is Trac-Loc or not. As far as I know the 9.25 is available only on the 2-WD Limited.

LD/Lght Duty.... Doesn't inspire confidence. They need to call it something else like SD - Standard Duty, Suburban Duty, or .....Soccermom Duty. Or better yet, offer a Heavy Duty option....come on now...we all know most of us would want it.
