On the 1500s the factory tow hook is actually a steel bar with two hooks welded to it. Dealer gets $139 for them. That's insane!!! :VHOT:

Have any of you found a way to mount a "normal" tow hook to the front of your trucks? I want some attachment points, but I don't want to spend a lot and I don't want to trim or modify my bumper. Help!

I can not find the original thread, but here was a diagram of some tow hooks that one of the members made himself. You just need some 1/2" flat stock and some 3/8" angle stock. Then you attach some regular old tow hooks like they sell at Autozone to the angle stock. I think it all cost maybe $30.00 if that.

you can get the tow hooks for a 2500/3500 and put them on. look it up and you will find the info
