Hey:

Here's the new link to the WC 53 site I mentioned in the other thread. This guy Paul did a F'n Fantastic job on restorin his 53. From what he started with to what he got when he finished is just unbelievable.

The slideshow takes about 10/15 minutes to go thru, but ya won't be bored. It's definately not the same truck old Uncle Sam brought from the Dodge Brothers. Uncle Sugar wished for somethang like this rig. :bman:

Grinner:

I hear ya. You'd be able to take almost anywhere for shoots. :D I'm gonna do like Paul from NY did with his as far as the interior. He says the seats from a 99 Exploder will fit like a glove. He also re-hung his brake & clutch pedals, but it's the gas pedal's location that gives me trouble with my size 11's. :thatfunny I'm also toyin with the cargo door replacement idea. But I wanta still be able to do parades & stuff. I found a few pictures of other 53's with roof racks similar to mine & spotlights too, so those stay. I might also do a winch conversion. I've seen WW II pictures of some 53's with winches, but mostly they don't have em.

After this is done, I want to get a WC 56-7 Command Car (Ike Jeep), and set it up like Pattons. http://web.tampabay.rr.com/oldman/Patton's_WC-57.htm His had dual 50 cal's mounted on it. I bet I'd be able to get thru traffic with that sucker! :D
