Hi!

While washing the car and playing with the water hose, my 5 year old actually decided to open the gas tank.:dev
I am not sure how much he put in there. could be anything from one cup to two gallons.

I have two quotes from mechanics. Down-the-street shop one would remove the gas tank for $360, Dodge dealer would remove the gas and flush the lines for $1700.

I am still considering some DIY options. In particular siphoning/pumping the gas. Any suggestion on what could be the easiest way? I considered unplugging the pipe where it connects to the tank but I was not able to take it off. Even with WD40..suggestion on that would be great too.

Also does anyone has some success story using water remover / anti-freeze additive (Heet)? Again I am not sure how much water I have in there. The gauge shows a tank filled to about 25%. Wether it is 1% or 50% water I have no idea.

Thanks for your feedback
