I'm moving to that area for sure in about a month. Will I need to plug my truck in over night in that area in the winter? I have never been there before so any help is appreciated.
I ask this because I drive a diesel and this is my first diesel.

I do not have a deisel, but I am pretty sure it never gets that cold.
We have cold snaps for a few days or so, but nothing that bad.

No, you wont need to plug it in, doesnt get that cold here...like fireman said, we get some cold spells, but nothing terrible. Just be ready to sit in traffic is all, a lot of that going on here! What part of town are you moving to?

I live just south of Alexandria in Lorton, stationed at Ft Belvoir.....Traffic is pretty rough, but it flows on a schedule, so once you figure out the schedule for your route in the mornings and afternoons, a 15 minute change one way or the other will actually avoid most of the traffic. Also, if you like pool hall/bars and the like there are a few in Alexandria that are nice. Im not a "club" goer, cant dance to save my life!
