hi there my voyager 97 suddenly stops working after some minutes, i let it cool down and it starts again, all the mechanics in my town have checked it and none was able to find anything , service light is on, it gives codes 11 and 54, I'm pretty sure is the crank sensor, but i've read that might be some sensors located inside the distributor.
I'd appreciate your opinions

Most any time when reading codes is to start with the lower number. Other codes can follow. Cranks sensor for the 3.0 don't cost much.

according to my haynes manual: (unfortunately it depends on the scan tool used and they list three)
11: mentions Crankshaft position sensor in both instances (replace maybe?)
54: no cam signal at PCM

hope this helps

Better get that CPS from the $tealer. They are known to work and the AutoZone and AA parts may have problems. This has been noted for quite some time on the various forums concerning the CPS. Try a search for crank position sensor.
