Have had some issues with the oil burner these days... Last Jan, I had a CIL that read as Intake Air Temp Cuircit High Voltage, and MAP Sensor Voltage. I pulled the VA box and took it in... Dealer changed two sensors... still coding. Changed the ECU, reflashed to current update and replaced the lift pump (they ran it dry and cranked without priming the system). Ok for about a week then picked up an intermittant skip... Dealer replaced the VP44 as a result of the dry cranking I mentioned. Truck ran fine for a month so I reinstalled the VA box. A week later CIL codes IAT Volt again. Removed box and cleared the code.... ok for two days (yes, I bought a scanner).
SOOOOO, is it the box or am I headded for another ECU?
Thoughts anyone???
I'm saving for the MAD Marco box but I did love the VA.
