Problem solved.......................FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found that when I disconnected the vacuum line at the intake plenum the RPM's went through the roof.......also found that the line had a pretty good amount of crud in it.........sprayed the line out with carb cleaner and reconnected.......I had previously cleaned out the "PCV" valves but not the lines themelves. dam thing runs like a brand new truck!!!!!!!

To all those out there experiencing lack of horsepower.......by all means, CHECK YOUR VACUUM LINES!!!!!!!

I am not sure which vacuum line you are talking about. I have a 96-3500-V-10 and having horsepower issues myself. Seems that is just keeps getting more sluggish. Did you just try one line at a time? I am not sure what that part is you are referring to.
