For fear that my last question returns an unfavorable answer I will go ahead and ask the next logical question. Liking the look of a Factory Radio and having already installed a factory AM/FM/CASS/CD I found on Ebay, do I have options? My truck did not come factory with the premium audio system, and assuming that the radio I obtained came from a Premium system equipped vehicle with a amplifier, is there a way to easily add one (amplifier) after the fact? The radio does work but seems to have slight issues with sound/volume. The harness in the vehicle seems intact as all the speakers have sound. The harness in general seems simple enough (far simpler than the premium systems) and using an aftermarket amplifier is acceptable, if easily jumpered in. I am not an audiophile, it doesn't have to blow the doors off, but I like "good" quality. Has anyone tackled this type of upgrade successfully? Any thoughts?
