I have a suggestion 4 u guys which I been doing for years now and is so easy ........ I seen pictures of suspension and all kinds of under carriage of trucks those truck looks bad I see lots of rust and by the years go by it look even worst .
I got in to a habit ... every time i change the engine oil i buy 1 or 2 cans of Black Gloss spray cans and i shoot all the spots they look rusty , right over , not even cleaning or prepping the area , just make sure is no dirt , I have to tell you this in my second truck and my fist one after 10 years it looked like new under. For $6 every oil change i think that is worth the trouble .
A simple idea that works ... :)

Good tip ./

I dont have much rust, but there is a hella lot of dirt under there that gives it that brownish-red look. Mines an 02 and I live in the rust state..........Wood rust down here........You should see the crap done to our offshore aircraft to keep them form rusting out.....And you thought prepping a bumer was a pain.......
