Recently bought an 03 Grand Caravan. It had the (what I now know to be quite prolific) "left turn signal switch not auto-releasing" issue. Pulled a used one at the local junk yard, brought it home, opened it up, used the intact spring to replace my broken one, and the less worn down white slider piece. Hooked everything back in and it was working fine, parked in the driveway. First time it went back on the road, the turn signals don't work at all. Mind you, the switch auto-releases properly now, but at the cost of the signals actually signalling... not worth it. I've also tried it with both of the multi-function switches. Does this mean I jacked up the connector?? The wiring under the dash?? Any help will be appreciated.

Only way to know is to reinspect your work. Worst case - you may have damaged the BCM especially if the battery was connected while you were changing out the parts.
