OK this sounds really petty, but.... can that loud turn signal flasher be replaced with a quieter one?? I know those flashers used to be fairly standard among cars, but who knows nowadays....

The flasher is just a noise maker. The actual flashing is getting done in the computer, and outputs to a relay just to make noise. If you do not like it, find the source of the noise and eliminate it!
