Thursday evening I started having issues with the cummins. My truck was stalling out when i put it in drive and in reverse and was making loud clatter noises. Additionally, the pedal would stick when i let off, and the RPM's were a little erratic. The engine sounded like crap...definetly not the sound that I have come to enjoy since i bought it. Needless to say I dropped the truck off at the dealership by my house and they said three codes came up when they checked the diagnostics...one being the cam the other an injector..they didnt tell me a third. They said the diesel tech would not be in till tuesday and they wouldnt know further info untill they started taking apart the engine. My diesel only has 48,000 miles, anyone had any issues relevant to these. They also said they wouldnt no if it is covered under warranty until they broke down the engine. Wouldn't they know by running diagnostics if it was covered by warranty???
Truck is in the shop..anyone have answers??

they might be looking for evidence of "bomb"ing. Have you done any performance mods?
