I found a hose hanging on the ground from under the bed of the truck. I believe that it is the differential vent hose (?) as it is still connected to the diff. However I cannot find where the other end, which has a clip, attaches.

Any help would be appreciated!

I think it goes upper shock mount on the driver side, or close by.

I believe my vent hose is connected to the bottom of the bed via a small clip.

when my dad first got his truck i noticed something hanging down i flashed him to pull over it was the same thing. Except the little plastic thing at the end melted alot more then that one. Took it to dodge and they fixed it. I was so confused on where the heck it went.

It connects to the rear shock on the drivers side. The top nut has a straight piece of metal connected to the nut which prevents the nut from falling off. The clip on the diff vent hose goes on there. You might want to zip tie it also, and bend the clip so it wont fall off again.

There should be a loose cap on the end of the white piece. It prevents dirt from going in, and lets heat out.
