Dave, sorry you cant make it. Maybe we can get an offroading trip set up to the CA AZ border. Amerikan is interested and we can see his new prerunner setup.
AZsmilie, glad you are onboard.
Just met up with Diablos and Jerry C today and they are still good with the trip. Currently looks like 5-7 participants. I will keep you posted.
I may indeed be up that way in April for a backcountry trip with some buddies. I may also drive up to Carbondale in may for a training course, so I might be able to do a day in Moab on either of those 2 trips.
OK gents. Bill is out due to family obligations. Still waiting for word back from Jerry Croy and Mike Nims (pinz). Thrill, Mostro, and azsmilie, Hope you guys are still coming. Please advise.
OK, we may have to go to Martinez since it is likely that ice at the top of Montana Mountain may make that route hazardous. No worries since Martinez is also super cool.
Metting time: 9AM Saturday Morning.
Meeting location: Jack in the Box on the North East corner of the intersection of US 60 and Superstition Springs Drive which is approximately 4.4 miles east of Idaho road. Make sure to get in the left turn lane. If you pass the intersection, you will have to loop around to get back there.
I am going to try to make this one. I have been talking to some of the other Pinz owners and they are looking to get out. I will post as I find out. Great area with lots of nice views.
OK, we have 4 confirmed with one maybe. Pinz just called and we may have a few of the Pinzguaers come along!! that would be really cool. I will confirm by tomorrow the final details.
Mike Nims has 4-5 Pinzgaurs (and possibly a couple Unimogs) joining us. I willl be ther and Jerry Croy, Thrill023, and azsmilie are in. That is 4 Durangos and 4-7 Pinzs/unimogs. That will be a big group!!
We will be going to Martinez Cabin due to the rain/snow/ice at the top of Montana Mountain. Martinez is spectacular. Here are some pictures from a previous trip.
this stock isuzu was driven by a crazed lunatic that did a couple grand in body damage to his vehicle right in front of our eyes. It was pretty fun to watch someone beat the crap out of a stock 4x4.
