hi all.
my wife took her 2002 dakota sport 2wd to have the oil changed and the lube place showed her that her transmission fluid was brown and recommended a flush. when i call the dealer they said they don't flush a transmission just change the filters and drain the pan etc. flushing they say forces the crappy stuff back into the transmission causing failure later on. i called a transmission repair shop who said they flush the transmission cause its the only way to clean it out. anyone have an idea which is best or correct. hate to have to do a transmission overhaul because it failed.

thanks

have the fluid EXCHANGED not flushed! , flushing involves harsh chemicals, then have the filter or filters replaced
