Transmission Help Please
I have a '97 Grand Caravan ES with AWD and 3.8L engine. I am having transmission problems and from reading other threads I don't think I need a rebuild.
After I have been driving for awhile the sevice engine soon light comes on and the transmission seems to be stuck in second gear. If I turn the van off for awhile and restart it the transmission works okay but the service light stays on. After a couple days the light will reset itself.
From other threads I have learned that the transmission is controlled electronically. I believe that either the TCM or the solenoid pack are the problems.

Does my AWD van use the same parts for the TCM and Solenoid pack as the NON-AWD van?
