Anyone know the transmission gear ratios for the 5-speed manual transmission with the 3.7L? I believe the 4.7L shares this tranny as well.

You will have to look in your owners manual or perhaps under your hood as there may be a sticker with the details as to what trans you have... Once you know what transmission you have... check out this link...

Tranny

You have an NV3500 tranny. Here are the ratios:

1st: 4.01
2nd: 2.33
3rd: 1.39
4th: 1.00
5th: .73

This is what I was able to find on the link above.

NV3500 (Wide Ratio) 4.01 2.32 1.40 1.00 0.729
NV3500 (Close Ratio) 3.49 2.16 1.40 1.00 0.729

Im not sure how to tell if you have a WIDE or close RATIO....

Thanks guys, I appretiate the immediate response! The reason I ask this is because I'm looking into getting some 4.56 gears and I don't wanna end up in 5th at the end of the quarter. Thanks again!!

to see if its wide or close i think you would have to look at the glovebox sticker. or possably uner the hood. it should be posted somewhere.
