I am in the process of upgrading the transmission cooler on my 99 Grand Caravan with towing a boat in mind, about 2500lbs.

This model has a factory installed auxiliary cooler that is about 3" X 11".

I have a choice of replacing this with one that is 7" X 12" or one that is 11" X 12". I have them both and physically either one of them will fit nicely.

I wouldn't hesitate putting the larger one in other than the restriction of airflow to the condenser and radiator. Any other issues with choosing the bigger one. Can you go too large?

Thanks,
D

I have a 2005 GC SXT, I would like to out a transmission cooler on mine. I too have the factory installed cooler, and I think... it is built into the radiator... And good manufacturers... Also, what about a transmission temperature sensor and gauge, any ideas/recomendations...???
